The films selected in competition in the 31st Venice International Film Critics’ Week will be eligible for the International Film Critics’ Week Audience Award (5,000 Euro) and the Lion of the Future – Luigi De Laurentiis Award for a Debut Film (100,000 USD), awarding the best first full-length film of the whole festival. Latest Audience Award recipients include Gabriela Pichler’s Eat Sleep Die (2012), Matteo Oleotto’s Zoran, My Nephew the Idiot (2013), Vuk Rsumovic’s No One’s Child (2014) and Martin Butler’s and Bentley Dean’s Tanna (2015).
