The competition is open to all enrolled high school students.
Every genre of short film is accepted (cartoons, music clips, documentaries, etc) and the shorts must be shorter than 7 minutes (credits are not included in the length limits).

Each director can send only one short.
Shorts must be free from contents covered by copyrights.
All works must have english subtitles.

“Best Short” Award - Assigned by the Professional Jury
The short film director, chosen among all the twenty finalists, will win:
An experience on set.
Tickets for the British Film Institute Future Film Festival where his/her short will be screened.
The screening of his/her short at the exhibition “Cinecittà si Mostra”

“Best Foreign Short” Award - Assigned by the Professional Jury
The short film director, chosen among all non-Italian finalists, will win:
A workshop offered by the Australian Centre for the Moving Image in Melbourne.
The screening of his/her short at the EYE Film Institute in Amsterdam.

“Italian Golden Stone” Award - Assigned by a delegation of SCENECS festival
The short film director, chosen among all the Italian finalists, will win:
The screening of his/her short at the SCENECS festival

“Best Screenplay” Award - Assigned by a delegation of Road to Pictures Film and Quindici19 Staff
The short film director, chosen among all the twenty finalists, will win:
A workshop of two days offered by Road to Pictures in Rome.

“Media” Award - Assigned by the Media Jury
The short film director, chosen among all the twenty finalists, will win:
The publication of his/her short on all blogs and YouTube channels of the jury members

“International Festivals” Award - Assigned by the Festivals Jury
The short film director, chosen among all the twenty finalists, will win:
The screening of his/her short at all the festivals represented in the jury

“Farnese Persol” Award - Assigned by the Students Jury
The short film director, chosen among all the twenty finalists, will win:
A scholarship of the value of 500 euros offered by Cinema Farnese Persol of Rome

modalità d'iscrizione:
The application must be completed online in every part on the website www.quindici19.com in the specific section SIGN IN by the 12th of June 2017
Short films must be sent via WeTransfer to our email address ([email protected]) by the 12th of June 2017
Finalists will be announced on the 3rd of July 2017
The winners will be announced, awarded, and screened during the closing ceremony that will take place on the 16th of September 2017* at Cinema Farnese Persol of Rome.
